Frequency Modulation (FM)
- This is the usual way to transmit voice in VHF/UHF radio.
- This modulation gives high quality voice.
- BC stations use this modulation in the FM Band (= VHF 88 to 108 Mhz).
- The frequency of the carrier varies with the modulating tone => Frequency Modulation.
