Packet Radio (PR)
Packet Radio ist a digital operating mode, which is very similar to computer communication on the Internet:
- the telephone modem is replaced by the TNC (Terminal Node Controller)
- the telephone set is replaced by the HAM Radio transceiver
- the telephone network is replaced by the Packet Radio Network.
